If payment is not received before the 15th of the month, lessons will be discontinued until payment is received in full, and your membership in the studio may be forfeit.
Missed Lessons and Make Ups
Students who are ill should not attend lessons. If you’re too sick to go to school, you are too sick for piano lessons. Please notify me by 12pm if you need to cancel a lesson due to illness.
Students are allowed to reschedule one lesson per semester in the event of illness, family emergency, games, or school events. Reschedules are not for students who miss lessons due to play dates, non-emergency appointments, or family vacations.
In lieu of rescheduling, or if you have already used your one reschedule, I can send a personalized video lesson within 48 hours of the missed lesson.
If I must miss a lesson, for any reason, I will notify you via text and/or email. These lessons will either be rescheduled or I will send a personalized video lesson within 48 hours for students to watch and complete before our next scheduled lesson. Discontinuation of Lessons My hope is that every student would finish the term for which they are enrolled, but I understand that sometimes things come up. I do require 1 month’s paid notice if lessons are to be discontinued before the end of the enrollment period, and I would hope to continue lessons for that month so that we can wrap things up positively.
