Tuition and Payments Tuition for 30 minute lessons is $100/month and may be paid in 3 monthly installments, or in one lump sum for a discounted price of $275. Tuition for 45 minute lessons is $150/month and may be paid in 3 monthly installments, or in one lump sum for a discounted price of $412.50 Tuition covers all books and materials, reserves your weekly time slot and studio membership, and guarantees a minimum of 10 lessons over the course of the term. For students enrolling after the start of each term, tuition will be prorated. Invoices will be sent out at least 15 days before payment is due (on the first of the month), and payment may be made online via credit/debit card or by mail via check. If payment is not received before the 15th of the month, lessons will be discontinued until payment is received in full, and your membership in the studio may be forfeit. Missed Lessons Students who are ill should not attend in-person lessons. If you’re too sick to go to school, you are too sick for piano lessons. Please notify me as soon as possible if lessons need to be canceled due to illness. There are 13 weeks available for lessons, giving each family 3 flex weeks which can be cancelled for any reason. If I must miss a lesson, for any reason, I will notify you via text and/or email. These lessons will either be rescheduled or credited to your account if 3 lessons have already been missed. There will be no lessons on July 4. Discontinuation of Lessons My hope is that every student would finish the term for which they are enrolled, but I understand that sometimes things come up. I do require 1 month’s paid notice if lessons are to be discontinued before the end of the enrollment period, and I would hope to continue lessons for that month so that we can wrap things up positively.
