Private Piano Lessons
Beginning lessons early can be incredibly beneficial. It's a wonderful time to build foundations and foster a love of music.
Most children can start private lessons beginning at age 3, if parents are prepared to help with home practice. At this age, lessons will emphasize building a foundation in music concepts, relaxed technique, and development of the ear.
Students will learn fun, age-appropriate pieces, in preparation for beginning Suzuki repertoire when they are ready.
I typically delay music reading until students beginning reading language, but we do many preparatory reading activities that set young students up for success when they're ready to begin reading music.

Group Piano readiness Classes
Mini Musicians classes are the perfect first introduction to music lessons. This is a no-pressure, no-practice curriculum where we explore music and the piano through improvisation, songs and games.
Students will learn to explore sounds, listen actively and move to music. They also get introduced to the piano keys, develop reading skills and learn about rhythm notation.
There are no practice assignments, and a piano at home is not required to take part in these classes.
