Can you believe it's already time to start thinking about summer?
This summer I've got a few fun projects up my sleeve, so keep an eye out for more information and registration details. These will all be add-ons to regular lessons.
This year's offerings:
1. Get Creative Projects
These creativity based projects are always a hit! If you're kids are interested in composing, art, audio-visual, writing, or anything else creative, these projects will be a great fit for them.
2. Crash Course
Have a kid who loves playing pop music or wants to learn to play from chord charts and lead sheets? This summer I'll be offering a crash course in chord playing to give them an extra boost.
3. Magical Music Club
I am sooooo excited about this one! Piano lessons can be an isolating activity, especially when your teacher comes to your house. There are not a lot of opportunities to interact with other students.
This summer music club changes all of that. Students will participate in special activities in their lessons and collaborate with other members on games, activities, and composing. Think of it as a virtual club.
The theme this year is Harry Potter, so it's bound to be full of magic!
Keep an eye out for more details on each of these offerings in the weeks to come.
I was born into a family of musicians, and began studying piano with my father at age 4. Along the way, I’ve also studied cello and voice, and I’ve performed with many different ensembles and bands. I opened my mobile studio in the Pasadena, CA area in 2012. I have a passion for teaching preschoolers, pop, show tunes, and composing. When I’m not teaching, you’ll probably find me in the kitchen.
